Meet the Artist

Alyssa Ball is a contemporary realist painter based in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Her art is influenced by light, perspective, composition, and color. Alyssa’s work consists of highly detailed architecture, figurative work, and landscapes; each environment and subject having the ability to draw the viewer into the work, making you feel like you're witnessing a specific moment in time. After receiving a full tuition scholarship through the Sterling Scholar program, Alyssa decided to attend Utah Valley University, where she graduated in 2019 receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing. Her BFA show "Reflection" consisted of 16 large oil paintings of local Utah businesses. Since graduating, Alyssa has mostly been engaged in commissions, making and selling giclee prints of her paintings, and now teaches art lessons out of her home studio. She plans to continue doing commission work, creating new collections, apply for more art shows and markets, and expand her abilities through daily practice.
