Art Lessons
I teach students who never thought they could draw and turn them into confident artists. In these classes, there’s no pressure of receiving a grade. I work with each student at their own pace, which facilitates a noncompetitive environment where students encourage and compliment each other on their personal accomplishments.

I use a mentor-style method of teaching. Every student gets to pick their own subject matter to draw or paint and works at their own pace. I’ll go around to demonstrate and work with each student individually. No grades, no due dates, and no competition between other students.

WEDNESDAY
4:00-5:30 (9-10 year olds)
6:00-7:30 (12-17 year olds)
THURSDAY
4:00-5:30 (9-10 year olds)
6:00-7:30 (10-12 year olds)

I teach children 9 and up. I offer a range of classes to fit the needs of these ages.
Classes are as follows:
9-10 years old
12-17 years old
Adult Class (18+)

I start from the basics with every student because I believe learning the fundamentals of drawing is the key to becoming a great painter.
Mediums will be taught in the following order:
- Pencil
- Pen
- Prismacolor
- Watercolor
- Acrylic
- Mixed Media
- Oil

I have 6 years of teaching experience at Sydney Bowman's Art School in SLC, UT and have taught for 2 years in Saratoga Springs.

Fall-Spring Lessons are $85 a month (4 classes each month), to be paid the first week of class for the month via Venmo @AlyssaBallFineArt.
